Super Jet 38 Carb vs. 44

So I have a 701 61x/61x and ended up purchasing a set of Minki 44's from a guy on ebay. Now not knowing (Because I am new to superjets) that the twin setup would not work with my 61x i was kind of bummed once I got them. So now i am looking for the 61x twin carb adapter or a 62t bottom end.

Anyways so I took off my stock 38 single and started looking at it. I compared both the 38 and the 44's and they look just the same. Would I be able to tell with the naked eye? I don't have a micrometer right now so I couldn't measure it. Are there any markings that would be able to tell me that these are 44's? Or 38's? I wouldn't mind if they are 38's because from what I have been told 44's are overkill for a stock motor with bolt on parts.

Thanks everyone!

Easiest way to tell them apart without measuring them would be to look at the F/A mounts. 3 holes for the 38's / 4 holes for the 44's

OEM 38's are amazing carbs, and would be ideal for your set-up. IMO
