650/X-2 things to do for 650sx riding in saltwater

What things should I do to protect against salt water shorting?In the engine bay etc. And those kinda saltwater things.

Split the ebox and pull apart each connector and fill with dialectric grease. I put rtv on all the grommets where the wires exit the ebox and on both sides of the gasket when putting back together. Pull the plug boots off and fill them with dialectric grease too. I pulled the positive and negative cables off the starter and bolt and greases them as well. If your running bilge pumps, grease all wire connections there. Spray the whole engine bay down with wd40 and your good to go.
