So my neighbor is having a cook out next door and has some folks over to enjoy a day on the lake. I am out front in my yard by the water. 3 kids ranging in age from about 8 to about 14 come walking towards the docks from my neighbor's house and I can hear their conversation: "Uncle Dave says he is gonna let us ride his jet ski" They get a little closer and I hear "Well this red boat is Uncle Dave's so this must be his jet ski (pointing at Dave's Kawi SXI 1100)" The youngest one says "Oh MAN, that not a jet ski.... (he then points at my SJ) Now THAT's a real jet ski!!"

HAHAHAHAHA What a cool and intelligent kid!!! :)

Disclaimer: Yes, I know my Yami is not technically a Jet Ski. But you get the point.

Still Fat....
thats funny....

almost as good as the kid at the ramp yesterday, we pull up, and sees our skis and says i'm afraid to ride one of those things, they looks so hard and dangerous
i said to him... you'll never get me to ride a sit down (he was waiting for his friend to pull them out of the water), those things are to hard , dangerous and scary. you have more control with the smaller stand up and they are easier to ride then you think
i say kid because he was maybe 19-20

haha, thats funny and cool...

i think im the first person in my town to own a stand up. they all look at me crazy and say "they still make them?" lol

note: most of these people are in homemade flat bottom boats fishing for bass with cane poles.

So did any of the lil ones ride either ski?

I sooooo wanted to let them ride one of my standups. Well, honestly the SN but never the RN. But 16 is the min legal age out here, plus I didn't know them or their parents. 'Uncle Dave' ended up taking them tubing behind the Chris Craft then took out his Kawi by himself. Lame.
