I will be at the daytona Zone thursday for EPIC and I mean EPIC conditions.. The offshore flow will start thur morning setting up for the best ground swell we will see yet this year... Do not miss this guys!!!!! Even if you don't, or cant' come up, go hit this up... It will be perfect. Mark my words!!!!!

SWELL FROM FLORENCE COMING UP: MONDAY BRINGS 4.5-5.0 FT FACES AT EXPOSED BREAKS PUSHING TO 5.5-6.0 FT TUESDAY AND POSSIBLY PEAKING AT 6.5-7.5 FT WEDNESDAY. A STEADY DECLINE TO SET IN THERAFTER WITH SURF FALLING FROM 5.5-6.0 FT THURSDAY (BUT WITH OFFSHORES WINDS) DROPPING FROM 3.5-4.0 FT FRIDAY AM.


CONDITIONS
A LIGHT NORTHEAST FLOW 5-10 KTS MONDAY TURNGING EASTERLY TUESDAY WITH A LIGHT BUMP BUT NOT TOO BAD. WIND SOUTHEAST 5-10 KTS WEDNEDAY AM THEN GOING OFFSHORE WITH CLEAN CONDITIONS THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY.

ughhhh....what happened to your hull; i assume you're talking about Rusty

well, aparently you're not supposed to land BR's on the side over and over. I busted a hood latch and made a couple of cracks on the lip and side of the ski. I'll start working on the repairs tonight. I was in rough shape yestereday so between my hull and the huge bruise and a little hangover I only made a dawn patrol on Sunday and headed back home by late morning.


the last session on Sunday was un f'n believable. it was only me, butti, ollie, saki (on a blaster) and deblaster. butti wanted to go one for one on BR's so thats all we did, I'd go then he'd go and so on. after a while I started to point ollie out for his turn. he didn't hesitated and pancaked his first try. by the end of the session he got past half way.

I re-read my last post. I shorted ollie on his props, he was getting 3/4 rolls by the time we left.

I also thought nicks method grab (i think that's the name) was very fresh and my fave trick of the day. it was sick!

me and ewok had a long talk about getting upsidown. I'm no master at the BR but I've made enough mistakes on the conversion and on my blaster to give a little advice.

after talking to him I started thinking I should have kept my mouth shut. thats all we need, ewok going huge on his mx tricks AND rolling. :biggrin:

Tim, you were EASILY the MVP of this weekends freeride. noone made as much progress this weekend as much as you made. MAJOR PROPS.

it's sooooooo nice to see you and ollie stepping it up like that. Sunday's session just got better and better as the day went on. i rode the xh20 conversion and a few other boats out there.

i just didnt feel like sitting on the beach tuning carbs. screw dat.
