mademan9

I ride a SuperFrk WannaBe
So i have 2 sn superjets, they are almost both a like. But one hits a lot harder on the bottom end. I cant seem to figure out why please help with any info.
Here are my 2 skis and mods

1. This one has great bottom end
Stock 701 61x with lightened flywheel
compresion is 165 in both cylinders
extended rideplate and scoop grate
stock pump with a solas impros cut back 9/17
New 44 black jack with blowsion flame arrestor
carbon tech reeds
blowsion girdled head with 37 cc domes
lightweight couplers
Protec pipe
x metal waterbox
jss coils with msd plug wires
flow control valve

2. This one not as good bottom end
Stock 701 62t with lightendflywheel
extended rideplate and scope grate
stock pump with 9/15 hooker
44 mikuni carb with blowsion flame arrestor
carbon tech reeds
ada head with 35 domes
stock waterbox
factory b pipe
msd enhancer
:scratchchin::dunno:
I sure thought with the b pipe and ada head it would hit as hard or harder then the protec with blowsion head. What could be my problem?
The throttle response seems to be there. For some reason it doesnt seem to get out the water that well.

Lets back up. When you say 62T, are you referring to the cases or the cylinders? Because the Superjet was sold as a 62T twin carb, but continued to use 61X cylinders. So if your 62T is out of a couch then it's probably a 62T cylinder and has the higher port timing for better top end.

If it's 62T cases then why only one carb?

just grab a set of 61x cyls and pistons. Porting is the key to making bottom end power out of these cyls. Find a set already ported or send them to someone and get them done.

You may be able to get more bottom end with that cylinder by playing with the water injection screws on the B-Pipe
