There is not much info out there , but it is scheduled for the third weekend in AUG . I'm planning on going . Anybody else ?

What time do you plan on getting there Don? It's a 4.5 hr trip for me and i have to do some repairs to the truck first if I decide to go. My AC blower went out tonight and there's no way I'm doing that drive without AC. lol

Sorry,l didn't get back to you.l went to bed,so l could get up at 3am and leave.We had to do late check in before 8am Saturday morning.
Got some pics from Saturday's racing.My camera does not do well long range.The stand ups are always great to see racing.l got to talk to Rob Flores who has been racing for 23 years.Nice to see him and he is still out in front! Tim Judge was there as well.
And of course,the Law.......
l'm not much of a sit down guy,but l must admit those boats are bad azz rolling down the straights at 75-80 mph! Couple of them from the National Guard team sound like a V8 going down the highway.whoa !
Also got to meet Gary Burka from Twangled.Nice guy! lf anyone knows him,tell him he got his pic on here.He did a large barrel roll off two boats V wake for the big air contest. Jeremy Parr what big with a backflip.

I was there on Sunday. It was nice being at a race again, especially so close to home. I was told that this event will be back on Hartwell the next 3 years. I was suprised to see that many of the gp class sxr's were running 1100 kawi engines. I was told that the superjet in the pro gp class had a yami 1100 in it and could hit 66mph.
Yep,l saw that engine sitting in the hull on the yamaha.

That SJ with the 1100 motor is Josh Block. He and his dad built that together over the winter. I got a chance to check it out at the Colonial Beach race two weeks ago. It is a nice ski, but it is more in the 62mph range than 66. But, Josh makes it look fast because he is such a good rider, lol.

I went to this event, it was pretty awesome. It was my favorite so far this year, and the turnout was better than expected

I had a HUGE bbq sandwich from one of the vendors, didn't see the name but I had to hold it with both hands and it was really good.
