About 2 weeks ago someone started a thread on PWC about "babe pics", so I suggested looking at the home page of X for a daily babe shot...........and within an hour, I received a vitriolic PM from miss Bryan advising me in no uncertain terms about his "ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY" on members mentioning any other site having to do with skis, and how this is why he had to remove my response on the thread!!! :spankme:

I suppose we will all be banned from PWC by tomorrow morning for this!:hail:

Wow guys, I haven't seen a lot of these screen names in a year or more. I thought many of you just quit the sport, I didn't realize so many people have moved over here. I got in trouble for bashing Sea Doos reliability, I've seen people with great technical knowledge get banned for pretty much nothing. I got a PM tonight about SBT reading our PMs, but they configured their code to change any mention of X-H2O to *****.

Sad, really.

I am going to have to withdraw myself from the site. I like to help the Kawi SXR and SXI riders over there, but I can't support a site that treats people like that. It's too bad. We could've coexisted peacefully...... I tried to stay neutral on this one, but I am done over there. I will close my account tonite. I am going to miss out on some good Kawi info and threads, but hopefully this will help them to come over here and be treated better. (yes even the old school SeaDoo couch guys!)

Darin, in the light of this, I think it would be a great idea to add some Kawi, Yami, Polaris, (yes even) Seadoo areas over here.

how many people here would honestly buy a ready-made shortblock? Or would you just tear into what you got and rebuild it yourself?

I know what I've done (with the help of LPW) :wink:

I couldn't find a way to "delete" my account. So I just changed my signature to. "It is time for me to leave PWC Today. See you at a local Freeride." and left it at that. (Oh, I changed my pic to burning flames.)

I am offically only an X'er now. It kinda feels good!:cheer: I just feel bad that I won't be helping the new Kawi Guys over there anymore.

SBT is pleased to announce that it has purchased PWCToday from Rob Kennedy. PWCToday is the premier site on the internet for PWC enthusiasts, racers, professionals, and recreational riders and we feel honored to be the new owner of this website. Our strategy going forward for PWCToday is simple - if it's not broke, don'tt fix - or in other words - keep it just like it is. This is the best PWC site on the internet for a reason. Early next year we plan to approach all of the moderators and key industry professionals (such as Mr. Klemm of Group K, Nitroshark, Curt Jazwiecki, Water Worx, etc.) and encourage their continued participation in the site. We also plan to ask Bill O'Neal of Watercraft Magic to participate in this site as well as SBT's site. In addition, we plan on investing significant resources in hardware making the site faster and more stable. Something else I find interesting now..

Why are some of the people big names, and business, STILL associated with pwctoday?

I guess there is enough newbie, sbt customer base over there that the volume of business from that is worth the volume of business from guys that know better.

maybe it boils down to $$$, and few shops have the balls and ethics to seperate themselves from that corrupt mess.
