SBT/PWCToday - I need to get this off my chest

honestly, it doesn't get me down, because I know their true motivation is $$$, not the sport. Heck, Bryan doesn't even own a ski right now.

I'll ride until I'm in a wheelchair, and even then I'll probably ride a SC.

While I personally haven't been a victim of PM monitoring (SBT can look all they want, I had nothing to hide within my PMs), I find it extremely painful to watch as people are getting thier privacy invaded and creating an atmosphere of distrust in an already tarnished enviroment (SBTyesterday.com).

I think it goes without saying that this site will prosper in ways that SBT cannot. 90% of the top talent/personalitites as we remember them from the good-ole days are now here. The ONLY thing that keeps SBT going in my opinion is the racing section. Otherwise, it's starting to look like jetski.com.

I think SBT thinks that software, flashy ads, and a "super-server" are the key ingrediants of the PWC Today enviroment. Negative. PWC Today was 100% member driven, always was (remember when it was the old school forum?). What I find the most entertaining, is the fact that SBT has to stoop to the level of a 12 year old to make themselves look and feel better. they have had ample opportunity to be men, and accept things that they do not have control of, and be a MAJOR contributing member of the community.... but instead they paranoid to the point of breaking the trust and respect of it's memberbase in hopes of keeping a "clean" image.


Darin, I wouldn't even waste a brain cell worrying about what SBT does to your account at SBT Yesterday. You know as well as I how to circumvent EVERY loophole in the vBulletin registration process. But why waste any effort on a site that is headed down hill? I'd use the extra few minutes saved from "PWCToday time" towards this site. Add features, and let the membership build the community.

Now you know why I cut it off in January. I saw this coming a LONG time ago, based on the performances we've seen on thier old site over the past few years.

The X is really the only place where there is any activity, you just need to get a boost in the racing forum, and get me and Saki our MX forum :)

This is the biggest thing I am seeing as of recently. Years I ago stopped from participating in A.S.J-S / R.S.J-S after the Krone Vs. Klemm situation....things just keept on getting uglier. I only want/wanted to help and learn without all this senseless BS.

welcome to the club. I too think the community has taken a huge hit by there propaganda type business they are running on that site. Its sad.

Sorry bout the ban, Darin......actually I am not.......I'd rather see ya focus your posts over here.....:eek:) Like you I got banned from there for a joking statement I made here a definite WTF......pissed me off.....but why let a puss piss ya off.....cause a puss is still a wuss......lolhe will get his.......

Careful what you say over here. Thats why I was banned. I said nothing over there to give them any reason to ban me.

All I gotta say is "Darin thanks for the site and all that you do.:biggthumpup: " I love the site and I have learned so much about the sport from it. I went to the other site first and shortly got banned, for putting up a link to this site (it was a link that would reference a specific question so in theory it was not against their rules, as we can see that did not matter). Oh well I love this site and have found that people here are much more welcoming and engaging to people even those that are new to the sport like me and still have lots of dumb questions. LONG LIVE THE X!!!!!:woot:

Well, I haven't said anything negative or false...I feel that SBT has more to lose if they ban me because 95% of my posts on SBT are answers to questions and have years of experience in this sport (I'm not bragging - not my style). I'm not looking to get banned but its their loss.
