Blaster Yami 1100 vs. 1200 exhaust

Anyone know if you put a yami 1100 expansion chamber on a 1200 is it supposed to give you more top end or more bottom end?
My understanding is that the 1100 chamber has a smaller stinger and fewer water injection holes so I was thinking its more of a top end pipe than the 1200?

For anyone else that is considering this mod here is what I found out:
The 99 GP1200 uses the same stinger/expansion chamber as the 1100's, the only difference is the size of the water injection fitting on the end of the pipe.
The 99GP12 and 1100 exhaust has a smaller internal outlet (stinger) than the standard 1200 exhaust
The smaller stinger does make more HP and rpm but also increases the piston temperature. The 99GP12 and 1100 exhaust by itself or with other small bolt on mods ( flame arrestors and heads with 155psi or less) is still very reliable and a good low cost modification.
If you run higer compression or advanced ignition timing, higher grades of race gas will be required.

I already have a Riva 185psi head and Riva ignition so I ecided not to push it any further.

PS: I think the small stinger on the 99 GP1200 is the reason the RIVA igntion instructions say they are only for use on 97-98 GP1200's
