The green tranvestite 760 powered X2 is nearly ready for the water. I'm going to see how well the 760 works out but may swap out the top end for a ported 61X.
The current setup is:
64X / 62T 760 at 84mm
62T stator
62T ebox with MSD Enhancer
62T lightened flywheel
650 pump with SXR impeller
OEM 44 carbs
OEM RN Waterbox
I wanted to keep it simple by using the Yamaha mounting plates, Kawasaki pump and OEM hull mount locations. The front corner of the battery box needed to be cut out but that's it for hull mods. The Kawasaki powerplant could easily be dropped back into this hull.
I had the Yamaha plates machined down 1/4" at the motor mounting points to make up the 1/4" difference caused by the aluminum flat stock overlayed on the hull mounts.
I'll be starting another thread in a couple weeks with a Group K 845 into an X2.
