YAMAHA Superjet 1996-2009 Motor question?

Did Yamaha ever produce a superjet from factory with 62t cases and 61x cylinders?

I didnt think they ever did but somebody has assured me Yamaha has.

ALL Superjets 96-09 have 62T cases and 61X cylinders.

a buddies 1998 superjets has 62t cases and 62t cylinders......I guess the motor was changed at some point on his..........I always have people with 1996 + superjets asking me if I have 61x cylinders....which is why I thought the 1996-2009 superjets had complete 62t motors.

I will never think again...hurts too much!!

I'm embarassed to read this...

how can you sell all those parts and not now something this basic? how can you be sure you know what you're selling?

I have never owned a 1996-2009 superjet nor have I ever had a motor for sale from one.

My buddies 1998 superjet has 62t cases and 62t cylinders so I always assumed thats what they had.....and hearing all the talk about people always wanting to buy the 61x cylinders becasue they produce better low end power

every motor I have ever had in my possession was either a complete 61x or a complete 62t
