Yamaha Relay Wiring Help

I'm trying to wire in my new Yamaha relay but I don't know which starter cable goes to which post. Looking at diagram in the manual, it looks like post closest to brown wire goes to negative and post closest to black wire goes to positive. Both starter cables are red so I presume the one fused is the hot but am I correct with the statement that the post closest to brown is for negative starter cable?
I took everything out of my electrical box to clean it up but didn't take enough pictures and I have no recollection.

OKai, hope you understand this:
1. the thin black wire from really goes to common ground in e box
2. the thin brown wire goes to your start stop assembly
3. the thick red constant 12v+ from battery goes to your left 6mm post on realy
4. the thick starter cable to starter motor, goes to right side 6mm post on realy
Actually the 6mm post, is just the relay, so dosent matter wich of the thick cables goes were, although other stuff is getting 12V+ from this post, so they need to be in same place

2 fat red cables go to the starter relay, one red 12V b+ from battery the other red to starter b+ post....

Thanks for diagrams! The "BAT-" in the colorful diagram is actually a positive off the battery correct?

When you say left vs right are you looking at ebox from nose of ski? I think I'm going to reverse from how I have it now. Looking from nose of ski the right post is going to battery and left is going to starter which seems backwards as I'm thinking the post closest to the starter should go to the starter.

Attached is what I did. Look correct? Pic from nose of ski. Left post wire is going to battery.

The Starter solenoid is a giant switch with a single contact inside, there is no polarity so it doesn't matter which post they go to.
The smaller brown and black wires matter but I believe you have that part figured already.
