Hey y’all I found this cdi in an ebox the other day and have no idea where or what it is? I’m hopeful someone on here has had it or know more then I do.
Here’s the picture seems to look like it has a adjustable rev limiter but no other marking on it.
It looks like china but I have never seen a china one with the dial.

WSM sells some Arieltek ones like that with adjustable rev limiters but all of those I have seen are blue and they are junk.

I think Protec did mods on OEM CDI's , basically it was just a potentiometer put in place of the stock resistor

Yes it’s an adjustment dial

It looks like a diy adjustment on stock cdi.
But the housing doesn’t have any repairs done. The part they cut away to do the solder.
Instead it looks like the jell has either been topped off. Or jell removed then the dial added finished with jell
