I know your right, at the last few freerides the wave sets have not been ideal to set up to practice. Last Sunday at Ocean Park there was a sandbar that just totally screwed up the action, didn't want to try when your in maybe 3-4 feet of water. When we get down to Westport next month, they have nice sets and it should be great. It will give you a feel for rotations and is still a relatively safe trick to learn.
I will take that advise, however Paul is sending me some JR Magoo's stickers to "pimp my ride" and I have to get something on tape or film for his album...lol. Funny thing, the X2 feels pretty good when you air it out, it feels better on my lower back than my standup.Legdragger said:Unless you are related to PancakePete:hail: I think you will want to do stabs for a while before you get totally inverted on the X2. You can do some pretty inverted stabs on the X2 and not hit bottem like you would on a superjet. The rockered nose makes it pull right back up after you go in nose first. It is tons of fun.
