Custom/Hybrid X-scream Pole . What steering to use ???

Just bought Xscream pole. Was thinking to use UMI steering from previus pole but it's doesn't feet. What I can use ? I want to reuse my Wamiltone steering plate ( if possible ) and it's Kawasaki pump and steering (left side)

I could be wrong but i thought you had to run the x-metal steering system with there pole.

Just talked to Xscream guys. Going to drill and tap four holes for UMI

The adjustable X-metal steering is really nice if you dont want to drill....

UMI works great on it.

F UMI......bolt an RRP on there and never worry about bending bars.

I just pulled my UMI and put an RRP on my xmetal pole, it's much nicer

X2 UMI with thrust washer set up works great.

The cast XM pole has the four bolts for the spindle, the billet XM pole you have to drill for the spindle and mill out the center hole to fit a RRP steering system .

Has the same questions when I got my pole. XMetal would not recommend anything but theirs. I finally went with the adjustable steering system. My only gripe is that the steering cable ball on the bars slips on the bracket
