Super Jet x metal pole question (dual breathers )

When installing do you place a rubber bushing (like a stock pole ) around the cables . seems that there would be mega water intrusion in this area .

The breather tubes fill in the holes in the bracket.

They don't seal the holes that well.

The tubes only extend a few inches up the pole with the tubes inside the boat close to the bottom ( where they need to be for water intrusion ) .

I guess the real question is do they intend for you to use the pole for a source of air like the RRP. If so they missed the mark with the tubes they provided .

Yep, they use the tubes as a source of air.
Use 5200 around the tubes and there's no need to run them all the way to the bottom of the hull. That's just silly. A few inches into the hull is all that you need.

i thought it was a water pressure / equilibrium thing . When the boat is up side down and breather tubes are close to the bottom ( not below the water line when up side down ) so theoretically water should not enter the hull via the breathers .
