I am going to be honest here I have had a few of the old 440-550 tanks crack on me and leak gas all in the bilge, one happened at a freeride 5 minutes into the ride I was putting the ski back on the trailer and siphoning the gas back into the can, not a fun day, it might be worth considering purchasing a new tank, some of the tanks are 30 years old or older.
