~wonky~ sxi

why does the 750 sxi sit uneven in the water? it sits lower on the carb side, and requires major compensation when riding. it turns in one directin better than the other. the only engine mods are a factory wet pipe, which is heavier than the stock pipe and it still sits lower on the other side.:ponder: i noted the same problem on a bone stock / mint condition 550 sxi.
anybody know the reason for this, and how to fix it

should not be noticable while riding. Ive seen this happen with just about every ski except the sxr(its a damn boat though). never really conserned me as to why it does it but my guess is that the battery and carbs are heavier than the pipe.

Are you use the wet pipe is heavier? I'd guess the opposite (or the same).

Is your steering nozzle set straight?

GroupK says skis will turn easier to one side because of the way the impeller turns. The SXi isn't known for good handling so maybe that difference is more pronounced on it.
