I have a factory mod pipe and I was wondering will it fit in the sqn with my 701. Someone said melt the gas tank. What would be my best solution. I'm new to the superjet I'm pulling my B1 apart and going to put the 650 in that ski. pics if you got them
My brother has a b1 mod chamber in his SN and nothing has been modified, it appears to fit better than the one that is supposed to be in there. Its kind of like how everyone always says the sj mod chamber doesnt go right into a fx1 but will fit with some minor mods but yet mine went in easier than a SJ. IDK.
I fit a Factory Limited pipe in my SN and unless I'm mistaken the Limited chamber is bigger than the mod. It was a b^%&ch to put in, but it fit without mods to chamber or tank.
That pipe chamber pictured above is harder to get in there, but is designed for a Squarenose it roundnose. The mod is slightly shorter and easier to work with.
I though the original poster was talking about a blaster mod chamber in an sj.
that chamber may need a "little" dent in it around the hull. i attempted to put 1 in from a blaster set up and chamber was rubbing on hull. granted i have my hull sides reinforced.. but just my personal experience
if i ditch that chamber what would you suggest for a 160psi single carb 701? I like good snap feel dont care about top speed and nothing that pops off all the time when jumping thanks
Most will say a limited SJ chamber, but alot say the SJ mod chamber as well, you really cant go wrong with either. You should just sell the chamber you have, that will pay for most of the chamber you really need.
