FX-1 Will an fx1 sink?

I'm in the process of refoaming my ski and adding footholds, I'm thinking about putting a one way valve that dumps into the pump cavity.

I'm a little concerned about having less foam then stock, and if for instance the hood pops off.

Do you guys think that it will still float a foot or so below the water surface or will it dive to the bottom?

Thanks

So then you don't think theres any sinking danger removing foam for footholds and a one way valve?

Even though they are lighter than superjets there is less foam in the the ski, and removing the same volume as typically done on a superjet should have more of an impact on an fx since there is less to start with. or higher ratio of buoyancy change.

Hardcore- I do plan to add some type of additional retention system, but I just want to plan for the worst.

Basically if people think that this think will sink with footholds and a one way then I will opt out on installing a one way valve.

Thanks

not the footholds, but I think one way valves sink skis
when the ski goes upside down
the one way valve burps and fills the ski quickly.
get a twig, rock, leaf or stray washer in that valve and it become a sit and sink valve too!
