Will a 15-20 skat work for my setup?

This is also on the other forum but I figured I would get better/quicker help here. I am currently running a 8-16 skat in my '06 SJ and it hits hard, but it is basically a stock ski except for a ride plate and some non-performance mods. I have a girdled head (around 180 psi) waiting for install along with a Pro-Tec wetpipe. Im an guessing this new setup will be too much for the 8-16 and it will cavitate hard or hit the rev limiter quick, I have a line on a 15-20 in my price range but I want to know if it will work for my setup. Its an older skat-trac long nose 15-20, looks to be in great condition. Thanks in advance.

that prop works great in a blaster (maybe because of the hull planing out??), but is way too much in freestyle boat. we tried it did not work.... bonzia bob then tried a skat 16.5/22.5 prop we found for giggles and that was godd!m hilarious boat would not go over 5 mph......oh well live and learn

Sounds good, thanks for the info guys. I guess its either new for me or continue the hunt, at least I found a head and a pipe.
