Other Wifey couch question... Again.

OK I know I have asked some couch questions before, and here I am again. Finally got my ducks in a row and am thinking of getting her a 07 15f on CL if I can get the seller to contact me. But... I have a friend of a friend that's getting rid of an 08 Kaw ultra 250x cheap. Does anybody have any experience with these boats? I am only interested in it because the price is good. This boat will be used for all kinds of stuff, cruising with the wife and daughter, wakeskating, set up wakes lolol! and just playing around on. Fast is fun and cool as he77, but reliability will play into it as well. It's a surprise gift for the wife and she does like cool fast stuff, but not a priority. It's $1,200 more than the 15f.

From what I have read they are fast and well built boats. They have a better rep than seadoos!

the ultra 250s are real fast and nice to ride. i dont know anyone that ownes one personally but i do no this, there is at least 2 at every shop around here that are blown up. seems like these turbo/supercharged skis arnt too reliable. then again, this is all my opionion.

my friend has a yamaha fzs, and i like it alot. that thing hauls ass and handles great. u can really throw it around for a big ski.
personally i'd pick up a non turbo/super four strike. we have a fx 140 that gets used for the same reasons ur describing, 4 years no probs so far.
