Why no freeride/freestyle in X-Games???

I know it's an over-hyped corporate sell-out fest, but it sure would be good exposure for the sport. Who cares who wins, I would just love to see it on TV. They're in LA this year, they could have gone down to Oceanside or something. Does anyone have any insight or thoughts on this? I just think it would fit perfectly.

^^^^^Yeaaaaa!!!!! Do it reeeal BIG, and maybe be noticed, if people start walking down the beach toward you, then maybe they will realize how cool the sport is! I think people would love it! It would be a huge step for are sport Fo Sho!
