Super Jet why is my ski so frikken heavy?

hey, i have a 96 superjet and its has b pipe, girdled head, 62t case, 61x cylinder, stock waterbox, and a carbon reinforcement everywhere inside, still has hoodliner, has 1" pad on tray tho... anyways, when im about to go for a ride with my brother ( 2003 supejet 100% stock ) his ski is waayyyy easier to lift onto trailer.... id say a difference of 30-40 lbs. sj engine bay.jpgxxx.jpgsuperjet2.jpeg

If you wanna see if your foams wet before you rip it apart you can drill a small hole at the back toward the very bottom and into the foam. See how much water comes out. You can throw a screw in the hole til your ready to rip into it.

Yes its probably the foam.
I just did 2 defoam projects this past couple weeks.
Both SN.
My everyday ski was wet and i removed 22lbs of foam.
The other square project you could tell was leaking water out of every orface by the staining.
Total removed from that pig........64lbs of stinky, brown like, sewage smelling foam! Actual weights no BS.
I was amazed to say the least. lol
