SXR why does ADA say to run cooling on the carb side?

Like the title says, why does ADA say to run cooling on the carb side? Would I be screwed if I ran it on the same side as stock?

My guess here is that it comes in from the exhaust manifold side, so it makes sense coming out the intake side. Fill the cylinders and absorb the heat from the manifold, cylinders and leave from the coolest part which would be the intake side. If you left from the exhaust side, I doubt it would absorb much heat transfer as it'd just fill the cylinders an start pushing water overboard. Plus I'm willing to bet they spent a lot of time on r&d on this matter, and they've been around a while, I see no reason to question them.

Do you guys use any thread sealers or loctite when installing the water fittings on these heads?

For pipe tread, water fittings use white teflon tape or preferred white teflon paste.
