I bet it was!! Dont get me wrong, I'm extremely impressed with the level of riding the sport has progressed to. Im still relatively new to the sport, the first vid that got me hooked was Eric doing three backflips in a comp. Its crazy to watch these guys now compared to what it was back then. I know the skills are on a whole new level as well as the power plants and hulls it takes to achieve the tricks. I hope to make it out to WF one year to see it in person, looks like a great time and crawling with cool people.
