Who wants to drive down to Lanier together from Louisville?

Freestylegeek was to be my driving buddy, but his plans have been changed thanks to his new J.O.B.

So, I'm going from Louisville, KY and have a site reserved by myself now. Anyone want to drive together from here? I would normally go down I-65 through Nashville to Chattanooga to TN but can cut over to I-75 at Lexington and go down through Knoxville instead if someone wants to meet up over there.

Anyone interested or just want to split the campsite?

I think freestyleriverrat and I are going to drive together now. Works out well since we're both in Louisville.

Maybe we should start some threads on caravans to Lanier. I think it would be good exposure for people on the highway to see groups of 3-4 vehicles all towing skis in a row, maybe even paint up the windows?! :cheer2:

I think we have a pretty big caravan going from MI. Depends who all ends up going.. I know my tahoe will be packed 4 skis deep...hmmm hows that gonna work..

I agree jett, a bunch of skis in a row would look good on the highway. Maybe we could meet you on our way through?

Once we get closer, we'll have to start threads with the major highways as the titles so people can figure out who/when to drive down.

We'll be heading down I-65 which I think is your route also early Friday morning. What time are you thinking?

Pretty good idea. I think we could get a decent caravan comiing down I-10 :thewave:
