Who has used Race Logic templates?

Is racelogic out of business? I've emailed them a couple of time trying to order the templates, but have not heard anything from them.

For $300., the cylinder can be ported by someone who can do it in their sleep with no mistakes.

JFW did it (first time) on a 61x and had great results. His ski make great power from bottom to top with stock carbs, bpipe,TL. I'd be happy if I could get the same power out of mine.

I used them on my old 6m6 a couple years ago. Worked out great. It's just a template for widening the exhaust port and cutting the intake side of the sleeve. Nothing drastic, and it WILL improve performance over a stock cylinder.

Now if you want a real port job go talk to Chuck at Team Scream. I have ridden one of his ported 61x cylinders... WOW, you won't get anywhere close with the race-logic templates.

I've ported two engines with those templates and they both make really good power. One 750 and one 61x. The 61x port job was more impressive though. If you've got the tools to do it yourself, get some good grinding bits and knock it out. Cost me $100 shipped for each template and a few hours of my time.

I'll point out a couple things that are obvious to some and then obvious to everyone else once it's been pointed out. When you mark up the cylinder with your cut lines, you can't just cut the sleeve and lightly touch the inside of the port itself to help smooth it out. You really have to attack the inside of the port as well if you want it to work.
