Which SJ plate would you use

I have both a Jet Dynamics short and a Wamiltons plate. Which plate to do you guys prefer. Anyone used both? I ride on the Mississippi river so the only waves are from wind and boats. Also I bolted the Wammer plate to my ski to look at it and noticed that the steering ball joint rubs in the inside of the plate. Any input is greatly appreciated.

id run the wammer plate and do a quicksteer mod on the nozzle.

the mod is basically just moving the ball on the nozzle about 1/2" toward the pivot and grinding the part of the nozzle that hits the plate..... or just grind a groove in the plate.

If you are doing freestyle, you don't want a long plate. I did a D-cut to the same wammer plate you have there.
Or sell them both and get a stock one.

I have that same Jd plate. I cut it flush with the hull and i like it.:cool2:
