newbie here where exactly do you hook up the garden hose to run without running to the lake, i need to adjust my carb. also how to winterize your balster. 1994 x2 701

Pretty sure you don't want to adjust your carb that way. IT should be in the water if you are going to run it that long and get a true feel. If you just back it into the lake and leave it on the trailer tied down you can do it like that.

heres one of my beast. The Id tag on the motor says 760A. it runs real good. had to replace the headgasket after buying this one for the guy put the wrong kind on.

this one is the carb issue. I bought both these from the guy and this one would run out of fuel after an hour or so of riding. so I rebiult the carb with dads help. it runs now but theres a hesitation. Sometimes when i start it I have to choke it to get it to start. I have not checked the spark plug. But carb needs adjusted Just dont know where to start. I need to run new water lines to check out the kinks from that great last mechanic. He is actually a mechanic at our local shop. Like to whip is a-- but Ill do better, Ill fix these up. the 700 is alot slower it does have the factory pipe and riva head. but slow. steering is weird to isnt very responsive..
