Where is the cheapest place to buy a throttle cable for your sj?

Retail is like $112, and the best price I can find is $60, but if you need several that adds up pertty quick! I'm looking to spend $30 or less.

I've used the cheaper WSM cable and the Yamaha OEM cable.

The original Yami cable lasts 2x longer but cost 2x as much

I recently replaced a worn WSM cable for an OEM on my SJ.

i had a custom one made from, http://www.terrycable.com/ it was 12" longer because im running a stock 44 set up on my SJ.. $46.00 <--- might be because i ride dirt bikes with his son Ty Davis..

If that sounds good I can have him make up a few (extras and spares) and shoot you one..

Get a Kawasaki cable for a '93 750sx. Better cable all around and is long enough to use for duals reversed( cable pull on rear carb) The threads are 10mm so less likely to strip out and you don't need a throttle adaptor. Retail is less than $40.00 for OEM Kawasaki. Kawasaki part number is: 54012-3732

I'm running duals reversed so that the cable bracket is at the rear carb. It's just a bit longer than the square nose cable. More than long enough. Blowsion(Mark) is who suggested it to me. It would work well for a single also. Just have a bit more cable to work with.:smile:

You could always buy a cheap "cable stretcher" (C.S) as found in same isle as those M.B.

avoid aftermarket cables..... especially if you dont use a lanyard.
