Super Jet What's with this battery? ETX vs ES

Just bought a ETX16L from AutoZone. Threw it in my 650SN, just clicking as if it's dead/low. Voltage was at 12.3 so I threw it on a battery charger, voltage is at 13, still just clicks. The battery coming out of it was a ES16CLB, which is lead acid, ETX is an agm battery.

I just don't understand, they're both 12v, the ext is rated for 325cca, where the es is rated for 280, why won't the ETX work? Am I missing something or is this a defective battery?

Anyone know of an agm battery I can put in my '91 650 SJ?

Sounds like your starter is locked up.

I ran the original battery and jumped it with a little jumper box, and it started up fine

Take battery nack and have them load test. Could be defective.

Nevermind, I tried the jumper just now and it doesn't work anymore, just some clicks
