300/440/550 whats the best carb to put on a 550 sx

I am going to put a better carb on my 91 550 sx, or rebuild the one I have. I would rather just buy a new better one. it has a keihin 38 now, I am thinking about a super bn. Will the super bn bolt right on? Or would it be better to just rebuild the stocker? Thanks again for all your help guys. Also, If anyone has a good carb for sale, im interested.

Single 44 SBN works great. I used an oem one off a 650 SJ with 110L/125H jetting and it was excellent.

i would have to agree with Darin, 44sbn will make that ski run like a dream. i took mine off a 701 superjet and never changed a thing.

actually the Blue 42 Keihin race carb works really really well, just open up the manifold (bore it out to 42mm using a dremal and a sanding drum). Plus it is a direct bolt on, you do not have to modify the stock manifold to bolt the 44 down or try to find an AM manifold.
