What would you do with a 5mil stroker crank?

If you had a new rad 5mil crank, ported 26t cases what cylinder would you run? I am looking for alot of low end grunt as well as a motor that pulls well all the way through to the top. I already have carbs, reeds, and exhaust that I will be running. Basically just looking for advise on Cyl/Head/Pistons.

I think the popular answer is a Lamey.

Pat Bogart is currently running a very stout 5mmx88mm Lamey (888cc).

However, you might want to consider giving the new ADA a shot.

If you go all out with the ADA, 91mmx5mm gives 950cc and as you know, displacement is a big factor in bottom-end.

I think your crank is junk.:highhorse: I'll take it off your hands and give you my extra 61x shortblock.

I agree with njfl. That is if you aren't worried about going above 800cc for race purposes or something.

I haven't seen any numbers from dyno runs on the ADA yet, so I would say go Lamey.
Those are the only cylinders making the big juice these days.

Parrdaddy's combo is a proven 158HP monster.

Your first instinct is usually the correct one....
I do have to say that you want a motor that is low end grunt and still has it up top... I am pretty sure if you set up a freestyle motor for bottom end grunt that you should not run it threw to the top.. Not 100% but I have been told for different freestlye motors you should not run them at high rpms... Hey X is that right ?

Who makes lamey?? what is it the cylinder or what parts...and what is the end result and price of gettin one?? website??
Get a ADA Cylinder with the 5mm stroker........has anybody run that combo yet though???

Dan Lamey, totally different cylinder setup with 7 transfer ports, beefy casting, expensive but capable of making awesome power.

So is the Lamey just the cylinder without acc???? Whats expensive??coz our exchange rate is R7 for one dollar..joke everythings expensive/9sum things are more worth the effort!!!ha)
