Blaster What to use to plug old bolts holes

Previous owner put a couple handles in front of the stock handles, to help with reboarding. I dont even use the stock ones and they got in my way while riding so I took them off. Now Im left with open bolt holes and want to know what is the proper way to seal them. I was thinking just a put new bolts back in (screw style head) and (on the inside) a fender washer, lock washer and nut? Any sealant on the fender washer? If so what can I use?

Thanks,

T

I f the holes are not too big upholstery fasteners, you can get them at Autozone, they call them Christmas trees.

Yeah I hadnt thought of that just the push in type, maybe put a little marine tex or 5200 just for good measure. Holes are about 1/4~5/16 maybe too big, but Ill give that a look.

Thanks!

Take some resin and just fill them. Take a piece of like blue painters tape on the inside of the hull and tip the ski over. Fill the hole, let cure, remove tape and touch up with paint. Done.

I ended up and put some 1/4" black plastic rivets in there with some waterproof sealant, looks and works great. Plus no more beating the crap out of my ankles, who the junk would put handles right there?! Much more enjoyable now!

Thanks guys,
