What should I shoot it with?

Paint that is. Prepping the B1 now and the RN later this winter. Both boats are going to be getting beat, so I don't want to spend a ton on paint. Something that may be easy to touch up over next season. What do you guys like to use for something like this? Brand and grade is what I am questioning. And maybe where to purchase it locally.

Thanks
Jay

Dupont NASON series is a really durable Urethane Single stage enamel. my last superjet I painted it 2 different times with it. Very durable, way more so than the base clear that Ronnymac sprayed for me in 2003.

ultra7000 or dimension? the ultra7000 is a super deep rich color i also really like the nason line of dupont. its fairly easy to spray, goes on smooth and has a killer shine. its just thin, takes several coats to get a deep rich look. also a quality wet look hardener makes the nason look a lot better imo.
if your wallet will allow it go shermin williams, if not nason will do just fine.
good luck, and dont forget pics!

Spend the money and buy some decent paint,If you are not willing to do that then PPG has an industrial line of paint that has a urethane additive,it goes on easily and is super durable, they use it for heavy equipment ,painting steel buildings and anything that will be outside in the elements, they can mix it in any color.I sprayed some metal on my building with it five years ago,it looks just like the factory sprayed metal and it has held up beautifully,NASON is crap,Sherman Williams automotive paint is crap,if you are a novice don't even try shooting one of those, nothing shoots like Dupont or PPG,it is very user friendly.

I have had good luck with the NASON series, it is heavy duty, used on heavy duty commercial trucks (Dump Trucks, Cement Trucks, etc). Strong as hell.

Painted 4 or 5 ski's with it. One or two of them has about 5 years on them and still look pretty good.

To Each his own.

Thanks guys. I'll take some pics for sure. I'll hit the paint stores first of next week and see what they have to say and offer. Cost will come into play, but if it isn't that much of a difference, I will step up. I'm an impatient perfectionist. This will be good entertainment for sure.
