Super Jet what makes a wetjet intake so great?

I have a 61x wet jet motor and hvae been told to run this intake and carb on my motor and it would rip,but why is it better than my stock intake?

Different intake runners and reed stuffers. Also a 46mm carb. Make sure you have the right intake though. It will say WPP on the top if it where it bolts to the cases.

Some gold wetjet motors had the oem 44mm carb an intake. Don't be fooled.

Ok will double check tonight I knew they had a bigger carb but was unsure of the intake difference

It's just one of those things that's probably not a huge difference to stock, but you're pretty limited in aftermarket 61X intake manifolds.

It is not going to "make it rip" by itself, in fact other mods will do much more for performance. The Wetjet manifold is bigger and the only other single manifold available so it gets a lot of attention.

so mine wasnt marked wpp should I even bother changing it out ?

I wouldn't. It's an oem 61x intake if it doesn't have WPP on it. Pull the intake off the wetjet motor and post a pic anyway.
