Super Jet What is this prop for?

Hi I feel like this is a question that i can google but i did and i just could not find the answer. I bought my 94 superjet with a 12/20 Skat on it. The guy said its more of a mid range prop. Is he right i want lower end. Or should i switch it with my Solas IJK series that is on my 650. BTW i do not care about my 650 as long as it move forward.

I just wanna know if a 12/20 is for low end or top speed and what is the IJK series made for. I may have been unclear at first.

im no expert but it sounds like top end. excpecially if you dont have vary many mods. i run a 12/17 in a mag pump but i have about all you can do besides a bb stroker. that gives me good low to mid range.

and IJK is 3 different pitches. I is like a 13-18 J 14.5-18.7 and K is 15-19 ( could be off a few points, but you get the pic)

Ok i just figured out i have the I and its 14.5-18 im guessing that this is bottom end? would it help me on my other ski to switch this prop with my skat 12-20

Yes, it is basically designed for a stock motor. The J is more for Limited Setups and the K for Mod. It would be good on your SJ.

Ok im not sure what a Distinguishes between Limited and mod but i have a pipe, High comp head at 180psi, msd, and some stuff in the engine like a hot rods crank. IT is also a 701 so not sure what my ski falls under.
