I offered him $100 but he claimed someone has offered him $200 for just the engine head. I said that's rediculous but he wont let me come get the whole lot for $100. I should have bidded on it them. He told me I could take everything for $300. I told him he was nutz. There's not even spark plugs in that nasty ass engine. What do you want to bet was inside.

I figured $100 I could come out ahead. I could use some parts for my 650 and sell the rest. He said he was going to sell this other guy some parts and throw away the rest. I think he's a jackass. $200 for the head? YOu can buy a whole engine that runs for $300!!!

So, I bought these tonight from him...

Included in my purchase was 2 Kawi 400's. I do not want these skis. To say the least, they have poles, bars, hoods, one has a pump and etc, some motor mounts... really, I don't know what I have with these yet until I get them unloaded and washed out. Everything on the 400's is for sale. I know that the white ski has some glass damage (cracked near the hood) and other than that, w/e. Make me an offer on anything you see on the 400's. I'll post in the for sale section once I get them cleaned up and can get some pictures. (Nothing from the X2s or 650 is for sale!)

This is a great deal for me. i spent very little money and have so much stuff to entertain me for quite some time. I probably have enough stuff to either get an X2 running or to get it most of the way there. Anyway, I need to get these cleaned up, and then I'll post up some pics and maybe you guys can fill me in on what I really have. The one X2 has an engine and the pipe says "PJS" on it. Hopefully I have an aftermarket pipe for my 650SX. =X

At the very least, I can put my engine in the X2 while I clean up my 650 hull and turf, etc, then put it all back together. =)

I might use the 400 pump and put a lawn mower engine in a ganoe just for giggles.

I'm giving one of the 400 hulls away for free. Arrange pick up and it's yours. The only thing you will get for free is the hull. I will be keeping any and all parts unless you have some $$. If noone wants it, I cut it up and throw it away. I'd rather see an old ski find a home than kill it. Both hulls have damage too them, but you can have either, I don't care. As for the second hull... if I don't get $$ in my hand for pumps and etc... I'm going to cut down the ski to just the jet drive and throw the rest away. I'll mount it in a ganoe or something.

I realize from this point on, I'm probably talking to myself, but meh, I entertain myself.

As for the 650 and the X2s... I'm amused by everything I've got here.

It looks like the X2 with an engine has an aftermarket alum. head, a pipe, intake, ride plate, some K&N stuff, MSD ingnition, and that's just what I found while moving them. Hopefully it's not seized...

The second X2 has a lot of good parts and the hull is in much better condition. If I can get the engine running, I'll be using this hull. It also has a brand new finger throttle and matching bar mounted bilge switch. The bars and cables look good but I don't think they'll work on my SX. *Edit* oh ya, and this X2 has the start switch that allows for the use of a laynard. I've wanted a laynard so if this is working it'll be $$$$.. This also has an MSD ignition.

The 650 has lots of goodies for no engine. At 1st glance, it has a good throttle cable, the stock bilge, a working fuel toggle, the upper exhaust manifold, good hood seal, all parts I don't have or are borken. The hull is in much better condition than mine so I can rebuild this one and move my engine. With a second hood, i can modify one w/o worry of ruining it. Appears the pump is frozen =( I think the starter that was with it is frozen too, no movey by hand.

I think the X2 and SX use a lot of the same parts, and if that is true, i now have like 16 motor mounts, 4 different ride plates, at least 2 different intake grates.

I know the 650SX and the X2 are practically identical. Can anyone tell me where the differences end? It would seem that the pump, engine, fuel... everything except the hull, bars and cables are the same. I'll research it some later but anyone able to give a few tid bits.

I'm like a kid in a candy store. woo hoo.
