Im puting my motor back together and Im wondering what carb I should run?I have a 6m6 that has been done up by protec. Bored to a 701, ported and a bunch of aftermerket goodies. I got the motor from a freind that I traded a stock 6m6 with some goodies.Anyway he might be willing to come off the 46 mikuni that was on the motor last year. Its just an oem 46 but has the jets that were in it on this motor.The only difference would be the pipe but since it had an aftermarket before it should be almost spot on. My other option would be a black jack mod to my 44. Everybody says they flow as much as a 46. Since I can tell them whats done to the motor they should be able to get the jetting pretty close also.The other option Ive alraedy ruled out which would be to run the 44 I have and fight the jetting all summer. What would you do? Spend a little more and do the blackjack mod to the 44 or get the carb that ran good on the motor last year?
