What can I do to my 300?

I have a js300 and a js550. So far I like the 550, but the 300 is a joke. I didn't expect much from it and i didn't get much. I would really like to do a flip in the future but we know that ain't going to happen on these lol... so I will settle for as much freestyle (maybe surf, if I can convince myself to put these Lil' ladies in the salt).. I suppose my goal is low end balls and hopefully a somewhat light machine.

I don't want to spend a million dollars on this machine, but what are some good options to achieve a light - powerful machine from this 300? I would like to start slowly accumulating performance parts/new engine.

Yea I've done a little google searching, but I'm looking for power in particular. Idk if these guys are going for speed or power. Also I'm trying to get the most bang for my buck. I just want a little air time :D.
Thanks

Haha keeping it "old school" with the name. I wasn't sure if anyone would notice, or if they tried to block out that disturbing image by now. .

Sadly that image will forever be burned into my brain. A long with the 1000's of people I have sent it to in the early 2000's. lol

Your best bet is to drop a Yamaha 701 into it. There are a bunch of build threads on that, but it is going to take a lot of work. I think there is one that is almost finished for sale in the ski section too.
