You can try and find the appropriate bolt that will fit into the bushing without wiggling. I think it's 14mm.
However, it needs to be Stainless, shouldered, metric.
You may have some trouble finding it.
I know I did, and I searched for a while.
I realized Pat's 45 bucks weren't too bad after all. Nice bolts.

SN has a 14mm bolt as well. I had a tough time finding one too and I work for a hardware corporation. Found a used one on ebay for $8.00. Just got lucky. OEM new wanted like $60.00.

They're both 14mm, but I was able to use 9/16" bolts on mine. I've had a square pole and bracket, and a round nose setup on my SJ. I used the same bolts on both. I'm putting a round pole and square bracket back on there this time, so I have to use the stock square bolt with some washers. Be careful using dual bolts on the square pole since it's glass at the bottom. You can crack it if you tighten it too much.

650sx pole bolts are perfect. They don't stick out the other side at all. Mine hasn't come loose at all and if you want more or less tension all you need is one wrench.

Well after 20 minutes in lowes, 2 bolts, 4 washers, 2 lock nut things, 2 stop bolts, $20, and a buch of teflon tape later its DONE!!! I really only need this to last for tomorrow since we need to finish our movie in school and i have to do a no-hander and my pole always drops so i needed it tight. Im happy with the way it turned out.
