Surfriding Went to Port A. today.

I desided to go to Port A. today and try to get a little ride time today because I was that the surf up down here in Texas. I got to the beach and there was about 5 foot waves, but it was really choppy. I put my ski in anyway and just like I figured it would be, after about 30min I put i back on the trailer. It was just too dang rough to do anything. I got a few good jumps in but that was about it. I havent been able to find a good day yet were the waves were good smooth roler. Has anyone down here ever hit it on good condition like that? I just figured I would shear my day with all of yall.

Surf was perfect for us at the last freeride in April. Port A is just weird like that though, some days its amazing and other days, its just too choppy to even ride. Packery Channel usually has some decent surf and if not surf, usually good rolling swells at the mouth of the jetty.
