I have been having a problem with the 720 not idling and being hard to restart,so I checked the popoff by just taking the lines loose and hooking up the gauge,Sure enough it wasn't holding any pressure so I put a needle and seat in it,I recheck the popoff and it still isn't holding pressure.Hmmmmmm,I pull out the spring and look at it and some yahoo has cut several coils off of it.I grab another spring and install it and recheck and I have about 18 lbs popoff, pretty close to what I was looking for.So I reinstall the old needle and seat just for kicks and the popoff is the same,I am sure I will have to do
some slight readjusting tomorrow to the idle screw and high speed to compensate but it starts wonderfully now DUHUH.:spank:

The funny thing is when I put that carb on and tried it out the first time it ran perfectly,it was all downhill after that,I blamed it on a bad needle and seat,of course pretty much zero popoff has the same effect .Nobody had a clue where to start jetting on this 46 on a 720,so I really shoudn't complain lol.
