I bought a used superjet with a WDK Razor hood and nosepiece already installed. I noticed that the hood is not sitting evenly on both sides. The right side of the hood seems to be sticking out past the ski but the left side has a perfect transition from ski to hood.
Could this be from hood pins not being installed properly and how hard is it to remove / replace them (I have 0 glass experience!) Or is it possibly that the stock hood latch wasnt installed dead center on hood? I have read some people were having getting the WDK hoods to "seat properly" without grinding and shimming,...but mine goes down and latches fine---but it just doenst fit evenly on both sides! I have 2 nylon hood straps so I assume its safe and doesnt take on excess water and the hood latch works fine too?! Hvae WDK lowered bracket too for what its worth
Any ideas or suggestions?
