A couple of the junkies will be camping Wavedaze weekend about a mile from the boat ramp and two miles from ride area. The hotel is definitely closer but the campground will fun too. I think the lows at night could be anywhere from 40-55deg so bring something to snuggle with :kiss:
Holiday Trav-L-Park:

Camper/tent site w/water+elec: $57.63/weekend
Camper/tent site w/water+elec+sewage: $63.40/weekend
Late checkout (6pm): like $15 or so
Cabin sites: $50 or so but are not part of the block (see map)
Call 866-849-8860 for reservations and mention Wavedaze (deposit is only $20)
The campground is providing a group discount and is a terrific location with plenty of amenities and activities for those folks wanting to spend less money on lodging or to focus more on just chillin'. Some highlights:
* 15 sites are currently blocked off for Wavedaze and they are going fast. The faster they fill up, the easier it will be to get another block adjacent to each other. The first block consists of sites above 60 and 65 on this map.
* The campground is less than a mile from the Rudee Inlet boat ramp so you will not need to mess with shuttling your ski onto the beach if you'd prefer to ride it.
* Exclusive parking at 9th and 11th street if you'd prefer to park as close as possible to the ride area.
* A city trolley service goes back and forth from the campsite to the boat ramp and to the ride area. Cost is $1 or so per trip. Leave your ski on the beach if you want and take the trolley back.
* This weekend is Oktoberfest Weekend at the campground. There will be beer, live entertainment, beer, food, beer, and a Mr/Mrs Oktoberfest contest if you so choose to indulge! They're gonna have beer there too from what I hear.
* Plenty of parking for trailers and multiple tents per site (confirm when you checkin or make your reservation).
* This site is very tolerant of noise and partying but NO ATV'S, PIT BIKES, etc unfortunately.
* Pet friendly!

If you go to reserve and they say the block is full, hook a brudda up and ask them to start a new block nearby :cool2:
