My Waterdawg Kustomz experience:
Part 1:
Towards the end of my short Midwest season, Jeff contacted me about a hull. He answered all of my questions in a very timely manner and was easy to deal with. He already had a hull built up that just needed graphics and a pump shoe so there wasn't much wait time for my hull. About a week after payment(I paid with a credit card so there was zero risk), I received my hull in a rock solid crate. He also sent me pictures of it being crated up along with a tracking number.

When I got it, I couldn't find the bag of inserts he includes and I wanted longer hood breather tubes. I called him up, and he sent them out no questions asked and free of charge in a very timely manner. Throughout the build he answered any and all questions. The build quality is phenomenal by the way! And I absolutely love my hull. Best decision I've ever made in the ski world.

Part 2:
After having my ski out a few times, one day while looking really closely at my hood, I noticed a cosmetic defect that didn't look like it was from riding and could easily have been overlooked when it was being shipped out. I told Jeff, sent him some pictures, and he said that was unacceptable and he'll send me out a new hood free of charge as long as I send it back to him so he can rip apart to see what happened. It really wasn't a big deal because a decal would cover it up.
I flopped that hood probably 100+ more times and the defect never spread or got worse. Definitely was still structurally sound. Jeff said he would get me a replacement after my season was over, since it was only a little over a month.

It did take Jeff a while to get the hood done, but I wasn't in a hurry due to ice being on the lake anyways. He was harder to get a hold of than before but he always did get back to me. This was also his busiest time to bust out builds, and I know he's had a ton of hulls to complete lately. He definitely made it worth my while though. He sent me a new hood, cut me all new decals(and a few other custom ones that I wanted), and a few other things that will keep me a reoccurring customer for sure.

The replacement hood I received looks fantastic, and when I told Jeff I received everything, he sent me a long message describing the steps to ratcheting the hood down and taking all the measurements before you drill the latch holes to make sure the seal compresses properly. He also gave me a few tips to even out the gap between the hood and hull if there is any unevenness with the new hood.

Ive been told by some people to wait until Jeff owes you parts.. Because then he won't care or bother to give you what you want. That has definitely not been my experience.

My WDK experience has overall been pretty great. My only complaint is that sometimes he's hard to get a hold of and you've gotta shoot him another message here and there.
