Super Jet Watching the fuel and...

My son is banned from my ski. Anyways, he ingested some water... again. It was in the fuel tank. 62t 61x 760cc stock 38's that are jetted pretty good on a limited motor.

The ski ran very rough with lame power off the bottom and into the mid. Top end was only ok. Plugs were looking lean. I richened to see what would happen and not much change at all. The day before the ski was ripping as it has all season. Pulled carbs and intake to check reeds. They were fine, but noticed some milky fuel from water. Pulled the tank and cleaned it, then refueled. No change.

But with the fa off yesterday I did notice at idle, when looking down the carbs, the front carb was fueling and back one wasn't. Didn't think much of it til last night.

So I pulled the carbs today and cleaned the jets, pulled mixture screws and with carb cleaner, blew out all the lines and ports. Everything seemed ok to me.

Put it back together and fired it up and after a bit I noticed the front carb lets out noticeably more fuel than the rear carb. WTF over? And with out getting the ski back in the water I won't really be able to tell if it is better. But watching the fuel differences is bugging the heck out of me.

Any thoughts guys?

Thanks Jay

If there's a visible groove in the needle, there's a problem. 85% of all carb problems are due to bad n&s
