Wamilton's hull + DASA 946cc PV stroker

I kinda suck at getting pictures. I've started 50,000 "bad luck" threads but since thinks are going OK this week I thought I'd post up some pics of my ski.

2004 (I think) Wamilton's hull
A/C aluminum pole? stock length
straight bars with Rogue grips
UMI steering and SHORT turnplate - overall I'd say it's about -4 length

Waterdawg Kustoms Razor hood and nose piece

Cyclone foot holds

No foam under the tray. Custom drains installed on left side (visible in last picture). I use the bottom exhaust flange screw to drain the right side.

946cc DASA engine
8mm Crankworks Stroker
89mm DASA cylinder
Team Scream ported cases
R&D M16 intake and reeds
ARP cylinder to case bolts

Novi 48mm carbs
Jetting
120 pilots
125 mains
18 psi pop off (2.3 N&S with whatever springs I found that matched, I have new 2.5 and 115gram springs for the next time I am in there, but so far this works)

Ocean Pro Vortex Composite Flame Arrestors

Advent T3 CDI running curve #39, but with base timign retarded 3 degrees so a max of 29 degrees advance (it's a temporary thing until the T4 gets a miracle)
TBM Aluminum charging flywheel

Advent T3 also controls the water injection for my

R&D semi-dry pipe. It was a wet pipe, but my chamber cracked. I'm running a dry chamber...but no water in the jacket until I get my carbon chamber from DASA Japan

stock pump
14/19 Hooker impeller
Wet Wolf Cone
Pro-Tec trim system - seriously modified for more throw
Jet Dynamics D-cut ride plate (I have a ride plate from Japan that I have not tried yet..but it translates directly as "bakafaripper")

Pet 2100DX tachometer

Pics!

One of my favorite things is my bilge pump and water injection wiring. I took the overheat sensor out and threw it way. Next I took the e-box rubber piece off a dead stator and used it to allow me to run more wires in/out for the stator.

I have a pair that go to my water injection solenoid and a pair that go my bilge pump switch. It really cleaned up my wiring....well technically it just allowed me to hide my UGLY wiring inside the e-box.

I added an additional fuse (7.5 amp) for the bilge pump and water injection solenoid. The connectors on the outside are Japanese style weatherpac just like the start/stop switch connectors. They are available from any Hot Products dealer (me).

did you get that hull from superramjet? If so it is a wammer.
Yep. This is it. It's a Wammer, but I'm not 100% sure on the year. Steve ??? in KS bought it from Wamiltons and Superramjet bought it from him. Superramjet buys all of Steve's old stuff (Lamey 66E, EME hull, etc.) and we buy Superramjet's old stuff. It's a trickle down effect, haha.

That thing would rip so hard
I have a very simillar engine and it just smacks so hard off the bottom
It's close. Scott's small bore Lamey hits harder on teh bottom, but my mid and top kill his. I really need a couple feet of wave to really put the power down. It's OK off a setup wake, but it's NUTS off even a small boat wake.

I should loan it out to someone with some skills and get some video.

I bet that ski rips. Is it a light weight hull? You should bring it to Lake Travis and we can switch for the day=)

According to Wamilton's it is a light weight hull. About 95-100 lbs empty. I guess that was light back in 04. The new stuff (in carbon fiber) seems like it is half that now.

I was really close to buying either a hull from Tem, Aircraftsalez or yz250fpilot's CF Wamilton's hull that was for sale on here. Now that I have defoamed this one his CF hull is only about 20 lbs lighter than mine. I think I could get that 20 lbs if I went to an uber lightweight hood (like an ugly XFT), nose piece, small battery, CF water box and maybe a CF fuel tank. Sounds expensive, but all that stuff is still cheaper than buying one of those hulls. Plus I've ridden Scott's lightweight Lenzi hull and it's too darty to me. It does do tricks easier, but to me it is harder to ride it all day.

I've had beginners on my ski (not with the current engine though) who thought it was the easiest thing to learn on because it was so smooth and stable.

I managed to kill another TBM flywheel. This time the starter drive chipped off a small piece inside itself, which was immediately sucked into the flywheel magnets. It managed to damage the magnets enough that it lost signal strength. I'm done with TBM flywheels, they are just too fragile for me.

I have a dual channel MSD Total Loss on it's way to me now.

I got my new R&D carbon fiber chamber in from DASA late last week.

Does the chamber have cut outs for the Powervalves? I know the dry R&D needs some pretty good denting to get to clear.

Nice ski.

Got the new chamber installed. It's taller. I had to cut the liner of my new Razor hood, but at least my ugly fiberglass job will be hidden. Right now the huge hole in my liner is patched with duct tape, haha.

The good news: the new chamber hits like a ton of bricks. It's got way more bottom end than the stock R&D chamber. I am guessing that is from it's larger size. Top end feels the same, but I didn't have my tach installed so I can't be 100% sure.

My total loss showed up today. I put off installing it because I need a water injection controller. I have an MSD but it doesn't turn on early enough. I ordered a Microtouch water controller today. Hopefully it will be here middle of next week.

Oh yeah, the new chamber clears the power valves beautifully. It fit 100% better than the R&D ever did and it requires no lord mount.
