Verdi-plug max and or other scupper

I'm doing a build on a square nose superjet and right now the tray is wide open and I'm ready to do a hull drain. What is the best drain / scupper and why. I'm leaning towards the versi-plug max and don't have one yet but I'm wondering can I just install a pvc pipe and get on with my build and buy the versi plug later and stick it in from the back? Or would I need access now and what size pipe do I run through the hull?

2"ID pvc. Depending on type of scupper will determine if you can install flush or If you need to have pvc recessed. If your only gonna run the versa max cut flush.

I read on their site 2.025 ID pvc which is prolly the 2.0 pvc like ^^^ mentioned and I'll add they install from the rear and have 4 set screws to retain them..

I was gonna install from the engine bay side but wouldn't be able to tighten the set screws unless I pushed it all the way to the rear

So with the Versi plug max I would need to keep the pvc sticking out the back of the ski a bit to be able to tighten the set screws?

No it can be flush.... This is the one I was gonna use
